Following the footsteps of her mother, Sharon became an esthetician in 1989, when she first trained at the Elizabeth Grady institute in Connecticut. Returning to The Netherlands, she continued the Integrated Esthetics Studies at the O.L.B. in Hengelo, with a background in management, marketing, psychology, and primary medical knowledge. She holds a Cidesco diploma and is a licensed massage therapist. She is certified in many esthetics specializations, studied at Schoevers College in The Hague and College for the Hospitality Industry-Tilburg. She has enjoyed performing services to her clients over the past 20 years of owning their business, and is passionate about serving their clients at the highest standards.

Hanneke is from The Netherlands and has been an esthetician since 1979. Her extensive studies started in The Netherlands. She successfully owned and operated a skin care practice for over 15 years, and became highly specialized in the industry. Some of these specializations are Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage according to Dr. Vodder, Shiatsu, Acne, Aromatherapy. She holds a Cidesco diploma, the highest accreditation internationally, since 1991.
Besides her passion for esthetics, she also had a passion for the United States. She had lived in the US for a few years in her early married life and started her family in Chicago. After they had decided to move back to The Netherlands, they visited the States frequently. It was on one of her trips to the US, late 80’s, when she was offered a job at Elizabeth Grady Face First in CT, which gave her the insight and expertise in a very dynamic and rapidly growing skin care industry. It was her vision to open up a skin care institute in the US, and this came to realization in 1995.
Native of Toronto, Canada, Colleen orchestrates daily activities for smooth operations and superb guest services. She is the friendly voice when you call to make an appointment, gives detailed attention to your needs and is dedicated to make your visit a long-lasting impression.
Her extensive experience in customer care goes back to the beginning of her career where she attended customer’s at a department store. Throughout her career she worked in various facets of retailing. Excelling in guest services is second nature to her.

I am Melanie Esham. It is a pleasure and privilege to work alongside the dedicated and highly-educated Esthetic and Massage professionals of Palestra Skin and Body Institute. Your skin and body appearance and health are of extreme value and importance to you each and every day. The care you put into them are the common goals I and Palestra share with you. My driving force as Bodywork Therapist and Esthetician is to listen to and discuss with each client, their individual goals for each session and to partner together towards potential benefits with maximum results. Whether your goals include stress-relief, a treat, improved tone and function or recovery from injury or dis-ease I focus on how you and I together can best achieve wellness for you through massage and esthetics. My belief is that each person entrusting me with an aspect of their personal care is a serious and honored gift and opportunity in my life. I share my intention with you to imbue your senses, body and mind with well-being and health as a life-long and worthwhile purpose for us both.
Chaya is a career visual artist and an advanced permanent makeup artist certified by the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics. She has been working at Palestra since 2004. Her talent as an artist enhances her ability to execute high quality permanent makeup work. She performs treatments such as eyebrow, eyeliner, lip liner, full lips enhancements. Also, because of her artist background, she is able to handle a wide variety of client’s needs reaching beyond general beauty procedures. She is able to help those clients who need restorative medical work such as areola, camouflage, scar tissue, and alopecia restoration. It gives her great fulfillment to see that her work can give such pleasure to clients.

Graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Coach and received her board certification by the American Association of Drug-less Practitioners.
Her education has equipped her with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention.

Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach
Lyndsay received her integrative health and nutrition coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition at the SUNY Institute of NYC. She went on to earn her master nutritionist certification from theTrinity School of Natural Health.
Her studies included learning over 100 different dietary theories, bio-individuality and orthomolecular nutrition, nourishing solutions for an all-encompassing healthy lifestyle and child nutrition.
Formally a middle grades teacher, her passion for nutrition and health grew fierce. She went on to earn her IHNC and MN certification and has successfully been helping people for over five years. Lyndsay is dedicated to helping others integrate nutrition, health, exercise, and mind, body, and spirit to live their best life. Her motto is, “Food is medicine, and preventative at that, it can cultivate a sustainable transformation for life.” When not helping others, she is a mom to two
young boys, a competitive runner, and enjoys reading about health and nutrition.
