Spa Treatments You Can Do At Home

 

We love when you visit us for a treatment at the spa. Sometimes life gets in the way thought and you just can’t find the time to see us for a rejuvenating treatment.

While it’s not the same as having someone else pamper you.  Here are some ideas that can help you get that spa feeling from home.

Deep Conditioning

Getting your hair to feel just a little smoother can go alone way to making you feel radiant. You can give yourself a deep conditioning hair treatment using all natural ingredients. The best part is, these ingredients are easy to find at your local market. You may even have them already on the shelf in your refrigerator.  The ingredients for a deep conditioning hair treatment are all natural mayonnaise and a half of an avocado. Simply mash the avocado into the mayonnaise, and work it into your hair. Then cover your hair with a plastic cap and warm wet bath towel. After about 20 minutes, rinse your hair out, wash, dry and style. Your hair will feel beautiful, silky and smooth.

Aromatherapy

A good relaxing soak in the tub always works wonders. Adding home made aromatherapy oils makes it all the better to soak your troubles away. Believe it or not, all aromatherapy baths begin with a see salt base.  By mixing one part sea salt, (which can be found at the local market), two parts baking soda, and one part Epsom salt, you create the base.  Then simply add a few drops of your favorite essential oil and you are all set. Take a break and let the aromatherapy relax your stress away.

Exfoliating

Did you know that you can make your own exfoliating scrub at home? Exfoliation removes all the dead and dying skin allowing new skin to show off its radiance. The result is a fresher younger looking appearance.  Simply put some regular table salt into a container and fill it with olive oil just past the salt line. Mix it up and use it to exfoliate wherever your body needs it.
